Slate's Obama Change-o-meter
All right. Although I knew better, I did share in the hope that Obama might bring some badly needed change to this tired old and seriously corrupted empire. Then again in saner moments, I knew there was little he could do to effect real change even if he wanted to.
So I asked, did Obama's job performance during his first 100 days in office represent real change "we can believe in" or only more meaningless novelty in defense of entrenched powers?
According to Slate Magazine, Obama earned a disappointing 11 points out of a possible 100. To understand how Obama's score was tallied see Slate's last entry for the series.
