Student Expectation

Unless otherwise noted, all assignments are requred. If a student misses two assignments (classwork or homework), a meeting will be scheduled with the class teacher. If more assignments are missing, a meeting will be schedule with the student's family. 

Students are expected to: 

• You must come to class prepared to learn, with all required materials, including books, sharpened pencils, erasers, and paper, and any other requested materials.
• You are financially responsible for your textbook (Approximately $80) and any other assigned school materials. A strong protective book cover is required.
• You must complete all assignments on time, and to the best of your ability.
• Although open discussions are encouraged, interruptions are not. Raise your hand to speak and wait respectfully while others speak.
• You are encouraged to ask thoughtful questions.
• You may sit at any table, and will often work together in small groups. If you can not accept this level of freedom/responsibility will be given assigned seats.
• This is an advanced, fast-paced class intended for motivated students. Students who continually disrupt the learning environment will be removed.
