Joomla Manuals

The Downloads Archive has links to several important manuals for Joomla users. Two were created by Kathy to answer questions specific to the Joomla sites we support. They include details not covered in the regular Joomla manual, such as custom extensions we've added to provide additional features. Most the information they need from Kathy's manuals, but for those who want the whole story, we have included a handy link to the official Joomla User Manual.

CommunityGrove Documentation Wiki

Be sure to check out the new CommunityGrove Documentation Wiki. Our goal is to bring the many threads of documentation together into one place. We have already added a few tutorials, and will add much more information over the summer of 2008.

One significant feature of a wiki is that it allows everyone to collaborate using Wikipedia technology. This site thus serves as an active example of what can be done using wiki technology. Our hope is that as your staff will be inspired by this stie to create wiki sites that uniquely meet the needs of your organization. Wikis are a relatively new technique that few schools have explored, but we believe they have great potential for all learning communities. Feel free to create an account for yourself on our wiki.
