Ron has a long and splintered history in woodworking, including foreman of a lumber yard in Blackpoint, California, seasonal stints in the timber and paper mills of British Columbia, cabinet making in Stuttgart, Germany, and traditional woodworking instructor in Waldorf-inspired schools.
Ron currently studies custom instrument making with master guitar maker Michael Dolan, and teaches traditional woodworking at Stone Bridge School in Napa, California.

Ron builds websites using GNU and Open Source tools, such as Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, GNU/Linux, Apache, MySQL, SQLite, PHP, Javascript, and jQuery.
While serving as Joomla! Security Forum Administrator, Ron wrote popular user support documentation, including The Top 10 Stupidest Joomla! Administrator Tricks, the Joomla! Security Checklist, and the Joomla! Security and Performance FAQs.
These days, Ron builds most new websites using the awesomely flexible Drupal system.

Ron earned a California Teaching Credential with CLAD from Sonoma State University and a Waldorf Teaching Certificate from the Center for Educational Renewal.
Ron currently teaches traditional woodworking and algebra at Stone Bridge School in Napa California.
