Church Committee

The Church Committee studied and verified illegal and subversive activities of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) against the people of the United States. These activities included illegal spying, wiretapping, and breakins, planting false evidence, giving false testimony, and murder.
