Slate's Obama Change-o-meter

Did Obama's job performance during his first 100 days in office represent real change "we can believe in" or only more meaningless novelty in defense of entrenched powers? According to Slate Magazine, Obama earned a disappointing 11 points out of a  possible 100. To understand how Obama's score was tallied see Slate's last entry for the series.

What was lacking in the usual approach, even at its best, was any sense of genuine enquiry, or any stimulus to curiosity, or appeal to the imagination. There was little feeling that one can puzzle out an approach to fresh problems withouth having to be given detailed instructions.
