Grilled Steak and Vegies

Ingredients/Zutaten

  • 1 lb Sirloin steak
  • ¼ cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbspSesame oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Bell peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 Onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 Zucchini, cut into ½-inch slices
  • 8 Skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions/Zubereitung

  1. Cut steak into 1-inch cubes and place in a bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic.
  3. Pour marinade over steak cubes, and let marinate 15 minutes at room temperature.
  4. While beef marinates, thread bell peppers, onion, and zucchini onto soaked skewers, alternating evenly.
  5. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat, about 400°F.
  6. Thread marinated steak cubes onto separate skewers, leaving some space between each piece for even cooking.
  7. Place vegetable skewers on grill and cook about 4 minutes, until they start to char slightly, turning once halfway through.
  8. Add steak skewers to grill and cook about 3 minutes per side, basting with remaining marinade during the first minute.
  9. Remove all skewers from grill and let rest about 2 minutes before serving.
