Tahini

Ingredients/Zutaten

  • 3 cups fresh, organic, raw Ethiopian white sesame seeds. Unhulled seeds (with the shell) are fine. Hulled seeds (no shell) produce a creamier tahini.
  • 1 tablespoon avocado or olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions/Zubereitung

  1. Process sesame seeds in a food processor on high. (~2 minutes)
  2. Add oil and salt to taste.
  3. Continue processes until all grainy texture is gone, occasionally pausing to scrape down the sides. (2-3 minutes)
